The Alliance for Flexible Polyurethane Foam (AFPF) has published “Installation Guidelines for Commercial Carpet and Commercial Bonded Polyurethane Carpet Cushion.” The guide outlines step-by-step installation procedures utilizing the double-glue method. Until now, no printed guidelines were available for this type of installation, according to the AFPF.

The guidelines are illustrated with color photographs. Various sections of the guide address cushion choice, pre-installation considerations, site conditions, floor preparation, cushion layout, carpet layout, and installation instructions.
