Wood Dale, Ill.-based FlorStar Sales recently celebrated its 15th anniversary with an old-fashioned barbecue. Forty-five 15-year employees were presented with a check and a plaque in honor of their contribution to FlorStar’s success.
FlorStar began on May 16, 1988, as a spin-off from Carson Pirie Scott, a major regional retail chain. The company has more than doubled in size and has grown to be one of the nation’s largest floor covering distributors. FlorStar services an 11-state area in the Midwest.
