"We recognize that this is a very serious crisis for people throughout the Southeastern United States and we want to offer whatever assistance we can to those in the area," said NFT publisher Jeff Golden. "This is a situation where people throughout the country want to extend a hand to people in need. We want people affected by this tragedy to know they are not alone."

NFT is urging those in the flooring industry to use the bulletin board to share and gather information related to the crisis. The bulletin board can also be used to help look for family members or associates displaced by the disaster. Visitors to the site are encouraged to share their thoughts and concerns about the situation as well as any news.
