Leica Geosystems recently released the DISTO Classic5, a high-precision laser measuring tool with a new ergonomic design, extended measuring range, additional measuring functions, built-in telescopic viewer, and other new features.
The DISTO Classic5 measures distances from 0.7 inches to 650 feet with 1/16-inch accuracy, according to the company. The DISTO unit can automatically calculate area and volume, and permits remote measuring via the Pythagorean function.
