Tarkett Sommer recently introduced Statiflor, a static-control floor designed for use in rooms that house equipment or procedures that can be negatively influenced by static electricity.

Within the Statiflor is line is Toro EL, a conductive floor covering available in nine colorways, and Granit AS, a static dissipative floor available in five non-directional colorways. Toro EL and Granit AS are available in roll or tile format. Both products are homogenous, and do not require waxes or polishes for maintenance.

With its introduction of DuraCeramic, Congoleum now offers consumers the aesthetic advantages of ceramic, stone and marble in a product with the option of a grouted or ungrouted edge-to-edge installation.

DuraCeramic is manufactured in a 15 5/8-inch-square tile size with an eased edge. The collection features seven natural designs in 28 popular colors. Shades range from neutrals and earthtones to bold primaries and striking metallics. Congoleum also offers the DC120 DuraCeramic display system.

Rikett quartz vinyl tile, manufactured by Knight Industries LLC, is composed of quartz crystals and a proprietary blend of binders and natural pigments. The product is available in a range of marbled and solid accent colors in 24- and 12-inch-square formats.

Rikett quartz is a 2,000 PSI tile, according to Knight Industries, and is highly resistant to cracking, indentation and scratching. The product, which is designed for heavy-traffic applications, is covered by a 15-year warranty against wear through.

Roppe Corp.’s Raised Design tile is PVC-free and designed for wear resistance where the floor is under constant, heavy use. With a wide variety of design options, Raised Design rubber tile is offered in six profiles and 55 color choices including a new Highlights palette.

Johnsonite has unveiled Prima Olio, a tile with swirls meant to suggest a distinct oil-and-water look. No two tiles in the line are alike. With a single background color and as many as three accent colors, Prima Olio is available in more than 100,000 color combinations, according to Johnsonite.

The tile is available in smooth, hammered, weathered, or flagstone textures. Matching stair treads, stringers and risers, as well as complementary specialty items and solid colors for use in accents and borders, complete the look. Prima Olio is slip resistant and meets all ADA requirements for flat surfaces and ramps.

BurkeMercer Flooring recently introduced a new line of luxury vinyl tile and wood planks. Stone luxury vinyl tile is offered in many colors and designs in six categories, including marble, solid, carpet, granite, pastel, and sand. Each tile is 18-by-18 inches in size.

Wood luxury vinyl planks are available in three categories -- fine grain wood in narrow planks; pitch pine in wide planks; and timber in wide planks. The narrow plank is available in 37.4-by-3.6-inch format. The wide plank is sized at 37.4-by-7.2 inches.

The 1/6-inch-thick product features the fashionable looks of large-format, 16-by-16 inch ceramic and stone tiles. Deep embossing gives the floor a realistic texture while making the surface slip resistant, according to Metroflor. Solidity is available in four styles -- granite, slate, travertine, and tumbled marble.
