The machine operator will be able to view the details of all orders and manage the individual rolls/cuts accordingly. Before a cut can be made, the system will confirm that the correct roll of material is loaded onto the machine. After the cut has been completed, the system will automatically update the inventory database, print labels, and provide detailed activity reports, E-Z Cut says.
E-Z Cut to unveil new software-to-machine interface at Surfaces
E-Z Cut will unveil its new MTS-1000 Cutting Machine-To-Software Interface at Surfaces 2005, booth #6958. The system provides direct communication between the end-user's floor covering software and a personal computer networked to an E-Z Cut Carpet Cutting Machine. Orders entered into the sales system will be automatically sent to the computerized control panel on the E-Z Cut, according to the company.
