The '80s pop music star, Rick Springfield, is slated to perform at the Atlanta Rug Market on the opening night, July 17. The annual three-day meeting will showcase hundreds of thousands of area rugs and accessories in 140 showrooms, according to AmericasMart, which houses the market in its downtown Atlanta buildings. A full array of educational courses and service programs will also be offered, including sessions on design trends and business management.

The Atlanta Rug Market will also feature the 12th annual Rug Retailer of the Year Awards, which will honor the top dealers in the industry. AtlantasMart says more than 500 retailers and exhibitors are expected to attend.
