FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Floor Decor Inc., a south Florida big-box flooring retailer headed by former Maxim Group CEO A. J. Nassar, has appointed three new members to the company’s board of directors.

Joining the Floor Décor board are: H. Frank Lahage, president of Lahage & Associates Inc., a Florida-based custom estates contractor; Paul Renn, executive vice president of Janovic Plaza/New York City and former retail regional manager, director of retail operations and president of the retail division at The Maxim Group; and David Vella executive vice president of BSI, a division of building products manufacturer MASCO Corp.

Floor Décor, which currently operates a Fort Lauderdale flooring “superstore” with more than 1 million square feet of floor space, is pursuing a business model pioneered by retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe's and Bed Bath & Beyond.

"In following our plans to grow the Floor Decor big-box superstore concept, it was imperative to appoint a capable and motivated board,” Nassar said. “And we are confident that we have done just that."
