Custom Building Products has introduced VersaBond Flex and OptiCure Stone Setting Thin-Set Mortar, and has made improvements to its Marble & Granite Premium Mortar Mix.

VersaBond Flex is a polymer-modified mortar designed for setting porcelain and glass. The product retains the quality of VersaBond but adds higher flexibility and bond strength, according to the company.

OptiCure Stone Setting is a premium mortar designed specifically for the installation of moisture-sensitive stone or tile, such as green or black marble, granite or cement tile. Formulated with the company's propriety Controlled Cure Technology, OptiCure is designed to virtually eliminate free water during the curing process.

Marble & Granite Premium Mortar Mix now offers increased sag- and slip-resistance for thin-bed vertical installations. Marble & Granite is also suitable for wood subfloor installations exceeding ANSI A118.4 and A118.11 without additives, the company says.
