The Hardwood Council has released Version 2.0 of the popular Finishing Touch CD. The new version of the CD has several enhancements. A new Lumber Grade Stain Guide allows users to virtually apply light, medium and dark stains to No. 1 Common, No. 2 Common and FAS-grade hardwoods in 11 popular species.

An expanded Finishing Tips section features practical advice from the American Wood Finishing Institute. Building and design professionals can also follow the CD's guide to step-by-step onsite finishing, learn the differences between common factory finishes and preview hardwoods in various stains and room settings.
