Sphinx by Oriental Weavers will open a new showroom in New York City as well as expand its space in the High Point, N.C., market for the second time this year.

The New York City Oriental Weavers showroom will open in April 2003 at the Textile Building at 295 Fifth Ave. The 5,780-square-foot showroom will house Sphinx machine-made and handmade rugs, as well as Oriental Weavers of America rugs.

Sphinx will also expand its High Point space by adding 1,000 square feet to connect its original showroom with new space that was added last spring. The expanded showroom will debut at the Spring 2003 High Point market, Sphinx says.
