The Bostik Findley Flooring Group has introduced Durabond D-60 Medium-Set Premium Latex-Modified Mortar. The new mortar is formulated for use in the installation of large-sized ceramic, porcelain, granite, slate, marble, limestone, and dimensional stone tiles.

D-60 can be used where a setting bed of 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch is desired, Bostik says. According to the company, the mortar provides an adjustability time of 40 minutes, a pot life of one to two hours, an initial set of eight to 10 hours, and a final set of 10 to 15 hours.

The product is available in 50-pound bags in white and gray formulations.
