Harris Tarkett will launch a number of product and program initiatives during Surfaces 2003.
The company intends to roll out a wide-width, distressed pine plank as part of the Grand Vistas Collection. A five-step process is used on the flooring to recreate the aged look and patina of a vintage pine floor, according to Harris Tarkett. The company will also add a Pine Natural to the Grand Vistas line.
Also, Harris Tarkett will debut new species and color additions -- a total of 14 SKUs -- in its most popular lines, including the Longstrip American Collection, Artisan Plank, Crossroads Distressed, and Coach House Hickory. Livonett, a European-influenced engineered product, will be available in seven species.
Finally, the company will introduce a new merchandising system featuring 15-by-21-inch sample boards and displays with oversized, 5-foot wings.
