DALLAS--Surfaces 2002 received a record number of registrations this year, according to the trade show’s organizers.

The expanded Conference Program consists of 40 sessions, including pre-show workshops, seminar sessions and industry panels, devoted to six distinctive tracks—marketing, business, sales, design, installation, and new technology. Pre-show workshops take place all day Tuesday, January 29, while seminar sessions are scheduled in the morning and late afternoon January 30—February 1.

The World Floor Covering Association Installation Competition at Surfaces 2002 brings regional winners together to compete on the exhibit floor. The competition is produced by the WFCA and co-sponsored by National Floor Trends and Floor Covering Installer magazines.

Seminar attendees can also earn CEUs from the WFCA for many classes in the program. CEUs will also be given for ASID and all member organizations of the Interior Design Continuing Education Council.

The new Itinerary Planner feature on the web site (www.SurfacesExpo.com) allows attendees to map out their agenda at Surfaces 2002. The online Itinerary Planner gives attendees 24-hour access to a listing of exhibitors, select educational sessions, information about hotel and travel reservations.
