Two new programs unveiled were Mohawk Custom Window Fashions, which is a complete collection of horizontal and vertical window treatments, and Mohawk FloorCare Essentials Professional Cleaning Systems, which offers two systems -- one for carpet, area rug and upholstery cleaning, and another for virtually dustless sanding and refinishing wood care.
Also introduced was the new Mohawk ColorCenter Elite merchandising system. It incorporates vertical displays, wood-grained theme card displays, updated overhead graphics, new desks and planning tables, deckboard storage bins, Mohawk FloorCare Essentials display, and Mohawk Custom Window Fashions.
"The Mohawk ColorCenter program has been an excellent way for retailers to give their stores a bold new look without a major investment, and improve their merchandising through methods proven at hundreds of stores across the country," said Ed Williams, Mohawk's senior vice president of Marketing.
"Part of the reason this program has continued [since 1974] is that we keep building its value," Williams added. "This year's convention brings benefits not just from Mohawk, but also from every participating member of our dealer network."
