Foresbec Inc., a hardwood lumber manufacturer and distributor based in Drummondville, Quebec, recently celebrated the opening of its newest ForesFloor flooring plant in St-Eugene, Quebec. The facility includes a two band saw sawmill, a 150,000 square foot production plant and drying kilns to produce the company's Classic collection as well as its more recently launched New Expression and Technique flooring lines.

"It is a fitting time to put a face on ForesFloor as well as our facility because it falls right in line with our latest technology advancements, our new product lines and the expansion of our business in the U.S.," said Foresbec president Albert Lacroix. He noted that the company has invested close to $27 million into the construction of the plant and that the location has created 160 jobs in St-Eugene.
