The Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA) has charted an ambitious course for its future following a comprehensive two-day strategic planning meeting at Louisville Tile's headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky. The gathering, which included the full CTDA board and key committee chairs, resulted in a defined three-year plan with specific objectives for 2025-2026.
"Our mission remains strong, and we've developed a clear roadmap for achieving our goals," said CTDA President Scott Levy. "By doubling membership, enhancing engagement, and expanding education, we'll provide significantly more value to our members and the industry."
The strategic plan focuses on four key areas: doubling distributor membership within three years, increasing member participation in CTDA activities, enhancing marketing efforts, and expanding educational offerings, including sales training and American Institute of Architects continuing education programs.
Rick Church, CTDA's Executive Director, highlighted the association's shift to two-year leadership terms as "a significant step forward" that will foster greater organizational stability.
The meeting, facilitated by Louisville Tile's Vice President of Operations Carol Atkins, concluded with attendees touring a manufacturing plant in Lexington, reinforcing the association's commitment to industry knowledge and collaboration.
"It was an honor to host the CTDA at our corporate campus," said Crosby Hall, Chief Administrative Officer at Louisville Tile. "We believe in the power of collaboration and are proud to support the Association's mission of uniting peers to drive the future of independent tile distribution."
Founded in 1978, CTDA represents independent distributors, manufacturers, and related companies in the ceramic tile and stone products industry worldwide. The association is now focused on implementing its strategic plan to drive growth and lead the industry toward a successful future.
