Franklin International Celebrates 90 Years of Adhesive Innovation

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives and polymers, is celebrating 90 years of business excellence. Founded in 1935 as "The Franklin Glue Company," the Columbus, Ohio-based enterprise has evolved from humble beginnings into one of America's largest privately held adhesive manufacturers.
"Reflecting on nine decades of growth brings not only pride but deep gratitude," said President and CEO Evan Williams. "This milestone celebrates ninety years of success and reaffirms our commitment to earning the trust of customers, suppliers, employees, and our community."
What began as a local business has expanded to global proportions, with manufacturing facilities across the United States and in Guangzhou, China. The company's products now reach customers in more than 60 countries worldwide.
Franklin International operates through two main divisions. The Construction Division produces the widely recognized Titebond® brand of wood glues, construction adhesives, sealants, and flooring products. Meanwhile, the Industrial Division, Franklin Adhesives & Polymers, specializes in pressure-sensitive adhesives for labels, tapes, graphics applications, and various wood assembly markets.
The company's success stems from its consistent focus on innovation and quality. Its flagship Titebond® brand has become synonymous with reliability among professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike, known for superior performance across woodworking, construction, and home improvement applications.
As Franklin International looks to the future, Williams emphasized the company's continued commitment to investment in people, standards, and capabilities. Perhaps most notably, he highlighted that the fourth generation of family ownership is "committed to and capable of carrying the legacy forward."
