QEP Delivers 60,000 Sponges to Aid Hurricane and Wildfire Recovery Efforts

QEP has donated over 60,000 premium sponges to aid in the cleanup following the Southern California wildfires and Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The donation will be distributed through nonprofit partners to communities struggling to rebuild.
"Two truckloads are headed out to our nonprofit partners Delivering Good and Convoy of Hope," said QEP President and CEO Len Gould. "We know our Best-In-Class Sponges could address an essential need on frontlines of recovery."
The sponges will be distributed by Delivering Good, which works with more than 800 local nonprofit groups across the United States, and Convoy of Hope, a Springfield, Missouri-based organization focused on disaster relief and anti-poverty initiatives. Both organizations specialize in ensuring emergency supplies reach those most affected by disasters.
Additionally, QEP is sending more than 1,000 sponges directly to the Los Angeles Unified School District, which has been handling numerous emergency calls related to wildfire recovery. As the second-largest school district in the nation, serving more than 425,000 students, its Maintenance & Operations Department has been particularly active in restoration efforts.
The transportation of these essential cleaning supplies is made possible through ATS Logistics's generosity. The Cincinnati, Ohio-based freight company has donated the full cost of shipping the sponges to affected areas.
