Spanish manufacturer Argenta Cerámica has launched Max, a new line of 14mm-thick porcelain tiles designed for high-performance architectural applications.
The Max collection features seven distinct designs (Astoria, Calian, Khala, Riven, Westone in 60x120cm format, and Area and Corbin in 60x60cm format), combining natural textures with precision finishes.
These versatile tiles offer significant advantages for commercial and residential projects:
- Enhanced durability with PEI 5 finish (highest wear resistance) and MOHS 9 hardness rating
- Ideal for high-traffic commercial environments and ventilated façades
- Energy efficiency benefits, reducing building energy consumption by up to 30%
- No reinforcement mesh required, unlike thinner alternatives
- Greater load-bearing capacity for demanding applications
Argenta provides three specialized anchoring systems (C.A.T 1, C.A.T 3, and C.A.T 6) for façade installation, each offering specific benefits for safety and maintenance.
The uniform aesthetic across formats allows architects to create cohesive designs throughout projects, from exteriors to interior spaces.
