Chicago's commercial design community is preparing for a powerful convergence of technology and inclusive design as NeoCon announces its 2025 keynote speakers. The event, scheduled for June 9-11 at THE MART, will bring together three influential voices to explore how design shapes our future.
Annie Jean-Baptiste, author of "Building for Everyone," will open the conference with insights on global innovation and inclusive design. Jean-Baptiste's keynote promises to deliver practical examples of human-centered design that resonates across diverse audiences.
British design critic Alice Rawsthorn will follow on June 10, presenting "Design as an Attitude." Her talk will examine design's role in creating safer, fairer, and more prosperous communities. Rawsthorn, who co-founded the Design Emergency podcast, brings a critical perspective on design's transformative potential.
The conference will conclude with Chris Barton, founder of the music identification app Shazam. His presentation, "Bring Impossible Ideas to Life," will share lessons from developing groundbreaking technology against significant odds.
"This year's keynotes will exemplify and explore design's power to impact lives," says Nubia Henderson, Director of Programming. The event is expected to draw more than 50,000 professionals from across the commercial interiors industry.
Registration is open at NeoCon.com. The annual event serves as a crucial platform for discovering state-of-the-art design solutions and fostering industry dialogue among architects, designers, dealers, and enterprise clients.
