Flooring Inspection Training Course Returns to Dalton

Flooring Consultants & Inspection Training Services (FCITS), a division of the World Floor Covering Association, will host its comprehensive inspector certification course next month in Dalton, Georgia, offering participants hands-on training in flooring inspection techniques.
FCITS has been a training provider for flooring professionals since 1988. Endorsed by manufacturers such as Mohawk, Shaw, and Tarkett, FCITS has trained teams from leading organizations, including Dixie Group, Home Depot, and Nebraska Furniture Mart, with the goal of improving claim resolution, reducing product failures, and enhancing customer satisfaction to drive long-term business growth. FCITS has trained over 2,000 inspectors worldwide.
The five-day course, running March 3-7, features instruction from CFI Master Installers and includes interactive mill tours of local manufacturing facilities. This course covers introductory residential and Main Street carpet and hard surface and an advanced course for luxury vinyl tile and plank.
In an era where product failures, installation errors, and claims resolution can deeply affect businesses, training in flooring inspection has never been more critical, FCITS leadership said in a statement.
The program, normally $3,500 when components are taken separately, is offered at a discounted rate of $2,499. Training covers manufacturing processes, installation best practices, jobsite conditions and proper inspection tools and techniques.
