Mohawk Industries announced its sustainable SolidTech R flooring line, incorporating 20 recycled water bottles per square foot alongside natural stone components.
The company plans to divert 6 billion bottles annually from landfills through this initiative, building on its decade-long record of recycling 60 billion bottles. Mohawk expanded its Plastic Bank partnership to include SolidTech R.
The product features a lifetime waterproof warranty, triple scratch resistance, and double joint integrity compared to traditional SPC flooring. New collections include Select Ashland Crest with natural oak designs and Oxford Manor offering high-end oak visuals.
RealPlank technology reduces pattern repetition with 30 unique plank designs, while HDX color clarity maintains a natural wood appearance.
Mohawk supports retailers with its "Heart of Performance" campaign through AdCenter assets and Edge LocalAdvertising services. The company will expand the SolidTech line in 2025 with additional Plus tier collections.
