CCA Global Partners Retail Group demonstrated its commitment to developing future industry leaders through multiple initiatives at its Winter Convention, which kicked off this week at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The cooperative launched its first NEX40 Retreat, bringing together 100 flooring professionals under age 40 from across its network. The program, supported Mohawk, Shaw, Engineered Floors, Cali, and Synchrony Financial, focuses on leadership development and collaborative problem-solving.

"NEX40 was a way for me to find my way in our business... it made it okay to not be afraid to make changes," said Lauren Allwein-Andrews, co-owner at Allwein Carpet One in Annville, Pennsylvania, and NEX40 member.

The convention's Education Day provided members with actionable strategies to drive business success and featured 47 specialized sessions covering crucial topics like staff development, leadership strategies, and installation best practices.

"This is more than just attending a conference—it's about transforming businesses," said Nicole Harding, vice president of CCA Global University. “Our goal is for members to walk away with valuable insights and tools they can apply immediately to overcome challenges, strengthen their operations, and achieve long-term growth.”

The university's online platform has already facilitated over 1,200 certifications and 61,000 training modules.

The Women of CCA luncheon rounded out the event's leadership initiatives, with more than 100 attendees sharing their inspirational "Words of the Year." The session included a panel discussion featuring industry leaders Kelly Oberschlake of Mohawk Flooring, Elizabeth Hurley of Shaw Floors, and Chanel Clifford of CALI Floors.

CCA Global Partners Retail Group, headquartered in Manchester, New Hampshire, encompasses Carpet One Floor & Home, Flooring America, Flooring Canada, the International Design Group, and The Floor Trader, with 1,100 retail locations across the U.S. and Canada.
