Contract Furnishings Mart (CFM) continued its tradition of community support with another successful Whiskey & Wine Fundraiser, raising $23,200 for Breast Friends Oregon. The October 19 event at CFM's Tigard, Oregon, location brought the company's four-year contribution total to more than $86,000 for the local breast cancer support organization.

The annual fundraiser, themed "Backyard Living," featured whiskey and wine tastings, product showcases, and backyard BBQ refreshments. Attendees also participated in a silent auction and raffle drawings and received vital breast cancer education through the "Know Your Lemons" campaign.

"Everyone at some point seems to be directly affected by cancer, particularly breast cancer," said Garrett Anderson, director of marketing, CFM. "The money we help raise goes directly to supporting women and their families in our local community, ensuring they don't endure the journey alone."

Breast Friends Oregon, located near CFM's corporate office in Tigard, has provided emotional support to breast cancer patients for over two decades. The organization offers crucial services, including transportation to treatments and ongoing emotional support for patients and their families.

The event's success was attributed to strong community participation, with customers, vendors, and local partners contributing through sponsorships, auction donations, and raffle prizes.
