The National Association of Floor Covering Technicians (NAFCT) and Unite Floor Training Alliance announce the educational sessions for The Summit 2024. The two-day event will offer networking alongside the education lineup as well as the opportunity for flooring installers, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers to participate in the panel discussion: "Bridging the Gap Between Installers and Manufacturers."
Thursday, February 22:
- “Concrete – Overview, Mix Designs, and Moisture” presented by Dean Craft, principal with ISE Logik
- “Causes and Remedies of Concrete Slab Imperfections” presented by Seth Pevarnik, director of technical services for Ardex Americas
- “Testing by the Lab Guy” presented by Lee Phillips, laboratory director at Professional Testing Laboratory LLC
- “What is ASTM?” presented by Sonny Callaham, co-founder and chairman of NAFCT
Friday, February 23:
- “Floorcloud: The Future of Jobsite Monitoring Is Here!” presented by Scott Banda, co-founder and CEO of Floorcloud
- “Seaming Today’s Handmade Carpets” presented by Robert Varden, owner of Advanced Flooring Technology and founder of Unite
- “Substrate and Flooring Failures” presented by Lew Migliore, president of LGM and Associates.
- “Knowledge That Sticks With You” presented by Gary Scheidker, director of technical services for Taylor Adhesives.
The Summit 2024 will be held at the Dalton Convention Center in Dalton, Georgia on February 22 and 23, 2024.
