Republic Floor, a hard-surface manufacturer and distributor based in Commerce, California, opened an 80,000-square-foot distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah, this month. 

"We are excited about doubling our logistics capacity and go to our next chapter to service the communities here," said Republic CEO Rotem Eylor.

The company celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting. Eylor said the company can expand the space to 100,000 square feet as the need arises.
