Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) announced the annual fundraiser DIFFA BY DESIGN (DBD) is returning with a new home at ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan, May 21–23, 2023, during NYCxDesign.
Local and international brands and designers are signing up to create extraordinary installations in support of DIFFA’s mission to raise awareness and funds for organizations providing treatment, education, and assistance for people impacted by HIV/AIDS, homelessness, hunger, and mental health issues. The new venue will bring a large audience of qualified international and national design industry leaders—driving awareness and most importantly, funding for the organization’s grantees.
The immersive installations will be on view to ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan badge holders during all three days of the show, which is open to trade professionals Sunday, May 21 and Monday, May 22 and to both trade as well as consumers on Tuesday, May 23. There will be a ticketed entrance for consumers/non-badgeholders for a donation of $20 and a number of features including talks, and a ticketed cocktail event on Monday, May 22. Tickets will be available in the coming weeks at diffa.org.
The program is being finalized in the coming weeks. For more information, please email Steven Williams, Associate Director at swilliams@diffa.org and/or visit icff.com.
