A new year has brought new hires to positions across the flooring industry. Here's the recent roundup:
Alliance Flooring announced the addition of Megan Simmons as director of member development working out of the Alpharetta, Georgia, office. Simmons will help existing members take advantage of the benefits available to them in the Alliance Flooring program. Her experience includes roles as a territory sales manager at Tarkett and Dalton, Georgia-based Floor Productions, a supplier of visual and display merchandising.
Effective January 3, Spartan Surfaces expanded into Southern California with Ismael (Ish) Calzada. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the California market, most recently with Emser Tile.
As the second largest market in the United States, Los Angeles and the greater Southern California an important milestone in Spartan’s continued expansion, the company said.
Spartan also entered Arizona and New Mexico, adding Mike Wilson. With more than 10 years in the industry, Wilson was previously president of Collective Solutions Company, family-owned and operated commercial flooring and decor agency.
White Label Studios reports that Taylor Martin has joined the agency as project and events director. Martin's experience at Mohawk Flooring prepared Martin for her dual role, in which she will oversee all project management for the agency as well as work behind the scenes to pull together Haven Conference 2023.
