On June 14, 2022, Armstrong Flooring released the following statement regarding the company's Chapter 11 process:
On May 8, 2022, Armstrong Flooring filed for voluntary Chapter 11 protection in order to execute an efficient and value-maximizing sale of the business. Armstrong Flooring has received a number of proposals to acquire all or various parts of our business as a going concern. To support these and other potential “going concern bidders” in finalizing their binding offers, Armstrong Flooring, with the support of its secured lenders and the Creditors Committee, is extending its bid deadline from June 14, 2022 to 12:00 p.m. ET on June 23, 2022.
Assuming more than one qualified bid is received, which is anticipated, an auction will commence on June 27, 2022 at noon ET to determine the highest or best offer. Once the winning bid or bids are selected and approved by our Board of Directors, the company will present the winning bid or bids to the Bankruptcy Court at a hearing currently scheduled to commence on June 29, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. ET.
