The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) has partnered with Industry Insights, a third-party firm that specializes in providing high-quality compensation research for associations, to construct the 2022 NAFCD Cross-Industry Compensation and Benefits Report. The last time this study was conducted in 2020, over 1,000 distribution companies completed a survey.

"In light of the challenging labor market, distributors are hungry for benchmarking data on compensation and benefits as well as ideas for enhancing their talent retention and recruitment efforts. We've designed an online survey to collect actionable information for the members of the distribution community. The high number of distributors that historically contribute to this report makes the results extremely rich and robust," said Kevin Gammonley, executive vice president of NAFCD.

The NAFCD Cross-Industry Compensation and Benefits Report provide participants with a better understanding of how their company's compensation levels and benefits practices compare to other distributors. Distributor members from over thirty different distribution associations feed into the report, representing all of the major distribution channels.

"As the demand for qualified employees outpaces labor supply and quit rates, it's important for a distribution firm to ensure their compensation levels remain locally competitive. NAFCD members are competing with all types of distributors for local talent. Fortunately, this report will help with just that," said Gammonley.

NAFCD distributors who complete the survey by March 1, 2022, will receive a complimentary comparison report, cross-industry aggregates and a company-specific report. Others will have an opportunity to purchase the results starting in June.
