The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Education & Research Foundation raised more than $34,000 for training through its first live virtual auction in November. 

"Thanks to the donations, bids, and sponsorship, the NWFA Education & Research Foundation will receive more than $34,000," said NWFA President Michael Martin. "Please join in thanking our sponsors who allowed for this event to be complimentary for the industry: Bona, LP Building Solutions, Mullican, Pro Drvie HD, and Rubio Monocoat."

With the cancellation of the NWFA Expo and all hands-on schools in 2020, the NWFA Education & Research Foundation (NERF) is implementing new ways to raise education funds in 2021 and beyond. Through NERF, NWFA offers educational opportunities like hands-on training, NWFA University, NWFA Live Edge, and scholarships. Since 2014, NWFA has awarded scholarships totaling more than $65,000 to train wood flooring professionals.
