Floorté Hardwood utilizes a waterproof SPC core to give consumers the stability, strength and protection with the added beauty of a hardwood veneer on top. For 2020, three new styles of natural white oak visuals with minimal distressing have been added to the Exquisite collection—Flaxen Oak, Harvest Oak, and Safari Oak. 

As with all Floorté products, these hardwood planks are 100 percent waterproof, meaning they won’t cup, swell, warp or crack when exposed to water.

“Floorté Waterproof Hardwood continues to be a true innovation, engineered to give consumers their most desired flooring—hardwood—with the durability, waterproof protection and ease-of installation they need,” said Herb Upton, Shaw Industries’ vice president of hard surface.

Floorté Hardwood features a click profile, meaning the product does not require adhesive and can be installed quickly over an existing flooring or subfloor. An attached Soft Silence acoustical pad ensures comfort and sound reduction.

The product is available in multiple species, finishes, sizes, and colors, with planks 7.5 inches wide and up to 72 inches long.  Advanced finishing techniques, such as reactive staining, wire brushing and balayage highlighting, are utilized to create more than 30 visuals.
