The first exhibit at the recently launched Tarkett Atelier showroom and exhibition space, "Circular by Design," is now open to the trade until March 6, 2020. Part of a larger content partnership with trend studio Edelkoort Inc., this first exhibit features objects and materials that are "Circular by Design" and features the work of ten international designers placed on podiums made with a variety of Tarkett flooring.

The designers include: Marjan Van Aubel & James Shaw, Waste No More, Sarmite Polakova, Christien Meindertsma & Really, Suzanne Tick, Meike Meijers & Vij5, Marjolein Stappers, Niels Hoebers, Dirk Vander Kooij, and Masson-Chevalier.

"Contemporary culture has reached a turning point; finally demanding real change on ecological issues and opening up greener perspectives," said Li Edelkoort and Philip Fimmano of Edelkoort Inc. "Sustainable materials now seek circular systems, often conceived with multiple uses in mind. To combat the waste of single-use products, valuable resources are being recycled, transformed and reincarnated by a new generation of conscious designers. This exhibition brings together new material and surface innovations from around the world, with sustainable ideas curated for the A&D community in mind, under the mantra: the future is circular."
