Flooring America, Flooring Canada, and The Floor Trader gathered in Denver for Building Buzz West, the first of its regional meetings, trying a new format that is intended to offer a platform for flooring professionals to come together to share and learn from one another.
"Summer is a great time for experimentation,” said Keith Spano, president of Flooring America, Flooring Canada, and The Floor Trader. “We've talked about retail personalization, and you hear that all the time about ‘me-tailing’ and the personal experience of each and every consumer. That's our goal as well...We thought that by splitting up the country, it certainly gives us a little more time to spend with everybody and also we hoping since we can split this up into two regions, we can get your sales people here.”
The event showcased the “Year of the Sales Professional,” highlighting new programs and techniques to close more sales. The group also rolled out its new Resista 3.0 and celebrated the arrival of Aquadura waterproof hardwood flooring.
