Calhoun, Ga. -- The clock is ticking down towards Halstead/Metroflor’s fundraising golf tournament on Tuesday, April 30 at the Top Golf Facility in Atlanta, benefiting Halstead/Metroflor’s Addiction Crisis charity (HMAC). Funds will be donated to a nonprofit organization raising funds for combating the national addiction epidemic affecting so many individuals and their families. The goal is to provide rehabilitation scholarships to families who otherwise would not be financially able to help save their loved ones suffering from Substance Addiction Disorders (SADs).

The Golf Outing will support HMAC’s goal of raising $500K over the next two years through a “Save an Addict. Save a Family” Go Fund Me page and other activities, which will be matched dollar for dollar by Metroflor/Halstead for a total of $1 million.

The April 30 event will start with lunch at noon followed by play until 3 p.m. (EST) at the Top Golf Facility. The cost is a tax-deductible $110 per person, and all net proceeds will go to the Addiction Crisis charity. Guests can pay at the event or through the HMAC Go Fund Me page.

In partnership with The Blanchard Institute, Halstead/Metroflor intends to achieve its goal through a 501c3 partnership with “Faith in Four: Recovery, Prevention, Education and Treatment”. Fully tax-deductible contributions will fund scholarships to top addiction recovery facilities for those in need, who cannot otherwise afford treatment.

“We urge you to register for the Halstead Metroflor Addiction Charity golf outing,” said Paul Eanes, Metroflor vice president of business development and leader of the initative. “Join 40-50 others to celebrate our efforts fighting the opioid, heroin, alcohol, meth and cocaine addiction crisis, which has escalated into a national social and health emergency. We are fortunate that Mr. Ward Blanchard of the Blanchard Institute, who is one of America’s leading experts on addiction, will be there to talk about the rehabilitation scholarships that your donations will be supporting.”
