SALEM, N.J.—Mannington Mills recently offered support to the Meals on Wheels of Salem County program and its “Mayors for Meals” event, which enlisted local elected officials and business leaders to deliver meals and raise awareness of the program.
“Since 1977, Meals on Wheels of Salem County has served over one million nutritious meals to homebound elderly and disabled county residents,” said Betsy Amoroso, Mannington Mills Sr. Director of Corporate Communications and Salem County Meals on Wheels Board Vice-Chair. “This nonprofit organization is close to the heart of Mannington and its associates who support its mission with donations of funds, time and talent. ‘Mayors for Meals’ shines a spotlight on this vital community program that helps keep seniors living in their own homes and provides them with not only a hot meal but a safety and wellness check each day.”
Mannington supports a number of community-based, nonprofit organizations across the U.S., focusing on local areas where it has operations. For more information, visit mannington.com.
