Pittsfield, Mass. -- The Annie Selke Companies announced a collaboration with designer Mark D. Sikes. Dubbed Coast to Coast from Mark D. Sikes for Annie Selke, the collection of rug, bedding and accessories for the Annie Selke brand speak to both Annie and Mark’s design sensibilities and tastes.

The designs were derived from traditional East Coast stripes, classic checks and florals, mixed with West Coast-inspired batiks, ikats, and embroideries. It’s a collection that celebrates worlds colliding, a juxtaposition of American meets European, traditional and modern, and old and new, the company said.

Celebrated for her commitment to fabulous and functional home décor, Annie Selke’s creative vision and 25 years of expertise with textiles helped curate this collection of bedding, rugs and more that are both timely, yet timeless. “Working with Mark allowed for a perfect synergy in both style and taste that we feel will resonate with our design-oriented customer,” she said.

“I have been both an admirer and customer of Annie Selke for many years,” said Sikes. “Collaborating with her has been an honor and so much fun. We both share a passion for beautiful but functional textiles and accessories, so working together was natural and fun. I can’t wait to use these pieces in my clients’ homes as well as my own.”

The Coast to Coast collection from Mark D. Sikes for Annie Selke will debut to the trade in April 2019 at High Point Market, and in print and online in June 2019.
