Avon, Mass. -- SelecTech recently announced Joseph Berkowitz as its director of sales. In that capacity, Berkowitz will be responsible for all sales activities related to SelecTech’s FreeStyle, StaticStop and Place N Go flooring products. Berkowitz comes to SelecTech after a seven-year tenure with Insperity CPBA. SelecTech was one of his first accounts.

“Part of why we went with Insperity was based on how easy it was to work with Joe and how well he managed our account. He was very impressive and in the back of my mind I always thought, ‘it would be nice to have somebody like Joe generating sales for us’,” said Thomas Ricciardelli, president of SelecTech, Inc. “Fortunately, our company has grown to the point where we really needed a director of sales and we are very grateful to have Joe on board in that capacity.”

Berkowitz holds a certificate in business evaluation from the University of Houston and an undergraduate degree from UMASS-Boston. In addition to his time with Insperity, he has extensive experience as a C-level executive in the restaurant industry with Zoom Restaurant LLC and Bertucci’s Corporation.

“I pursued SelecTech first as a possible client at my previous job because of the people at the company. I was really impressed with the quality of their products and their commitment to greener, more sustainable flooring products,” said Berkowitz. “I’m grateful and excited for the opportunity to help SelecTech grow and take it to the next level and beyond.”
