Santa Fe Springs, Calif. -- Reward Flooring recently donated 1400 sq.ft. of its durable GemCore stone composite flooring for the facilities of San Francisco's Asian Women's Shelter. The Asian Women's Shelter has been providing a safe refuge for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking since 1988, and is committed to promoting the social, political and economic self-determination of women and all survivors of violence.
“Reward Flooring’s donation is a tremendous contribution to Asian Women’s Shelter’s work to end violence in all of our communities,” said Orchid Pusey, executive director of Asian Women’s Shelter. “It helps us better serve survivors, families, and communities alike. On behalf of all of the residents, staff, volunteers and interpreters here at AWS who will be uplifted and motivated as we tread on new ground, we thank Reward Flooring for its generous contribution to the shelter and to the courageous residents finding refuge in it as they undertake long and risky journeys toward healing and peace."
As an active and heavily trafficked location, the shelter chose GemCore's Topaz collection, which features a robust commercial wear layer. Reward Flooring is a member of the Galleher family of companies and offers a complete line of hardwood and rigid composite floors.
