Salem, N.J. -- A group of Mannington's Madison and Calhoun, Ga.-based associates and their families recently competed in the 3rd Annual West Point Lake Dragon Boat Race to benefit the Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter in LaGrange, Ga.
This unique fundraising event featured authentic Hong Kong-style dragon boat racing with 30 teams paddling across LaGrange’s West Point Lake. Proceeds from the event benefit Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter in LaGrange. Mannington’s team, dubbed “Russell’s Rowers,” was comprised of associates and their families from Mannington’s Madison and Calhoun, Ga., locations.
“This was Mannington’s first dragon boat race competition,” said Russell Grizzle, Mannington president and CEO. “Everyone who participated had a lot of fun, all while raising money for an important cause.”
