Profilitec recently introduced Floortec, its new uncoupling membrane developed for​ better, faster​ and stronger installations. Floortec is a high-performance, durable uncoupling membrane to be installed under any tile installation. Round-shaped mortar columns allow for maximum load support contributing to “extra heavy” (14 cycles) rating on the Robinson test method (ASTM 627 over 19.2” wood joist structure), “lay-flat” technology minimizes curling, and a textured surface for stronger thin-set adhesion, allowing chalk lines to “hold.” The membrane is also translucent to monitor thin-set coverage, and and a round-shaped surface configuration allows for better overall workability.
