Springfield, Mo. -- Certified Floorcovering Installers (CFI) collaborated with flooring retailer The Carpet Shoppe, based in Springfield, Mo., to to find the next generation of skilled labor at the 2018 2nd Annual Build My Future Construction Showcase on March 28.

Build My Future invites students from the Ozark Region to learn about career opportunities in construction and business-related trades with a hands-on approach. While attending the exposition, students and teachers participate in a variety of activities, such as brick laying, a welding simulation, and nail driving, while also learning the vast variety of careers connected to the construction industry. The event was planned by the Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Build My Future Collaborative.
