J+J Flooring Group announced that all of its Kinetex products now come with the third-party verified International Living Future Institute (ILFI) Declare label. Declare is a transparency platform with labels housed on the Declare Product Database making it easy for designers, architects and others to determine where a product comes from, what it is made of, and where it goes at the end of its life. J+J partnered with one of ILFI’s approved third-party assessors, GreenCircle Certified, to provide third-party verification for its Declare label claims.
The Kinetex products’ label has also achieved the declaration status of “Red List Free.” This designation demonstrates that Kinetex products do not contain worst-in-class materials prevalent in the building industry, including chemicals known to pollute the environment or harm construction and factory workers.
“Going the extra mile to obtain both the Declare label and the third-party verification underscores J+J’s unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility, which includes complete transparency in everything we do and every product we make,” said Russ Delozier, J+J Flooring Group’s director of sustainability. “We’re proud of this industry-leading accomplishment, as it further assures our customers that Kinetex is a simple and sustainable flooring solution, guaranteed.”
