Milliken recently introduced MultiForm commercial modular carpet collection. Susan Fitzgerald, Milliken senior designer, reflected on her love of color and mid-century art to create MultiForm, a complete design solution capturing the creativity inherent in color. The collection’s kit of parts allows designers to see the floor plane as a blank canvas by utilizing shading, pattern blends, and distinguishing outer frames that combine to create one-of-a-kind floorscapes.
Distinctive colors were carefully chosen to evoke moods and captivate feelings. These colorways also easily coordinate with popular Milliken floor covering collections to further customize the floor plane.
The MultiForm collection features: twenty colorways, each with luminous color variation for depth; edge borders that vary from warm and cool blacks to navy and white for shape definition; and three sizes (1mx1m, 25cmx1m and 50cmx1m).
“The emotional and painterly qualities of MultiForm frame a mood for interiors,” said Mark Strohmaier, vice president of marketing for the Milliken floor covering division. “Size, color and layout options are puzzle-like pieces for designers to create a custom-inspired floor.”
MultiForm modular carpet also comes standard with a PVC-free, open-cell cushion backing for subfloor moisture control, durability and underfoot comfort, features 39.3% total recycled content, and carries a third-party verified Environmental Product Declaration and Red List Compliant Declare Label. The collection is manufactured using renewable energy and with zero process waste sent to landfill.
