Hokanson’s newest spring collection, Istorii, was designed by Larry Hokanson, founder, and inspired by his life’s work, travels, and interest in Russian history and culture. To create the eight-piece collection, Hokanson used gouache to paint each design onto paper and transform the motifs into textiles.

As with all of Hokanson rugs, Istorii is handmade by artisans in Nepal using traditional carpet making methods of hand-carding, spinning, dyeing, and knotting.
