La Fabbrica-AVA will be featured at Milano Design Week, April 4-9, participating in Fuorisalone. At the Ponte Rosso Art Gallery in the Brera district of Milan, La Fabbrica’s large porcelain tiles will serve as frames for gowns worn by the sopranos of a Bocelli opera in the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, Pisa, Italy. The costumes, made by Waste Recycling, were created using scraps and remnants left over from the tailoring of haute couture garments in the fashion district of Florence.

At Fuorisalone, the sophisticated gowns will be displayed with the surface finishes of La Fabbrica, which will accompany them as if on a real fashion runway. The originality of the costume materials counterpoint the preciousness of the large size tile project, available in sizes up to 160x320 cm. The finishes are inspired by the timeless beauty of marble and stone, which were mixed in nuances coordinated with the fabrics for this display.
