Carpet One Floor & Home has launch a program with Angie’s List, a trusted name in the home renovation community that provides consumers with access to verified reviews and information on local professionals.

“Many of our Carpet One Floor & Home stores have already benefited from the higher level of focus on Angie’s List,” said Janice Jacobs, vice president of marketing for Carpet One. “This new program not only provides our member stores with increased exposure across other flooring categories, but also helps them save on their advertising costs. Eligible Carpet One Floor & Home stores not participating in Angie’s List advertising now have the opportunity to do so.”

Angie’s List recently announced a new membership level to its eCommerce marketplace and verified reviews platform, which enables and enabling consumers to access reviews for free. That change has dramatically increased the number of customers searching for professional services in flooring and other categories through Angie’s List. Consumers had previously had to pay monthly or annual fees to access the reviews. Premium level membership levels that offer additional benefits remain available, as well. The company has also added benefits for companies that are eligible to advertise or offer eCommerce offers. 

“These changes have already increased the amount of opportunities for participating Carpet One Floor & Home members,” said Jacobs. “We’re confident that this program will help drive qualified leads to our stores.”

According to Jacobs, Carpet One hopes to help more Angie’s List members connect with their local flooring retailers, giving them an alternative to national chain retailers. Because they are a cooperative of independently owned flooring stores, Carpet One can offer Angie’s List users a local option when it comes to their flooring needs while ensuring that they’ll still get great pricing, quality flooring and professional installation.
