Crossville has released its latest Sustainability Report.
In 2014, Crossville became the first tile-only manufacturer to release a third party-compiled sustainability report based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and and ISO 26001 frameworks. The 2016 edition of the report is updated to reflect the latest data and details compiled with input from Crossville’s stakeholders as gleaned through a formal survey and follow-up discussions conducted by Nashville-based WAP Sustainability Consulting ,the third party consulting firm. It meets the requirements of LEED V.4 MRc3 Credit.
“Being green is part of our corporate DNA—and so is being transparent about our responsible manufacturing processes. It’s fitting that we’re releasing the latest version of our corporate Sustainability Report as part of our 30th anniversary year,” said Lindsey Waldrep, vice president of marketing for Crossville. “The information in this comprehensive report substantiates the measurable value and positive impact of our environmental practices.”
The report’s sections are organized to spotlight Crossville’s sustainable accomplishments in product design, waste management, operations and energy consumption. The report provides a full GRI Index so that those who reference the document may readily access key data and details, in adherence with G4 requirements as defined by GRI
