Ronald Kaplan has joined Ecore's board.
Kaplan has served as a director, president, and CEO of Trex Co. since January 2008, and became chairman of the board in May 2010. He retired as CEO of Trex this year, but remains the chairman. He also serves on the board of Caesarstone, a NASDAQ listed company that manufactures and sells engineered stone surfaces.
“We’re constantly working to build a board that is comprised of a variety of people from different industries with diverse perspectives,” said Arthur Dodge, III, CEO and president of Ecore. “We’re excited for Ron to join our ranks because of his experience in expanding market share, achieving operational excellence, developing a best-in-class product portfolio, implementing best supply chain best practices and creating an international brand.“
Prior to joining Trex, Kaplan served as CEO of Continental Global Group, a manufacturer of mining equipment. He also spent 26 years in senior positions with Harsco Corp., an international industrial services and products company, where he oversaw the development and construction of several plants around the world and closed and integrated several acquisitions.
